BERGISTANGI GUESTHOUSE
The accommodation consists of two houses. Firstly, there are two spacious rooms on the ground floor of the owners' apartment building, each with three beds. There is a shared entrance on the second floor for these two rooms, with a small kitchenette and a bathroom.
Secondly, there is accommodation in a former freezer house, which was built in connection with the slaughterhouse on the site and was used as such for thirty years. Times change, and in 1992, there was no longer a need for a freezer house. A few years ago, the owners of the house decided to convert it into a guesthouse. The house has three rooms used for accommodation. The rooms have bunk beds, with eight bunks in the largest room and six in each of the other two rooms, for a total of twenty beds. The bunk beds are of good quality, and there are ensuite bathrooms in the rooms. There is also a shared kitchenette in the house, equipped with excellent cooking facilities.
The guesthouse has been popular among groups and individual travelers alike.
