The Westfjords are of course known for their amazing fish, but there is so much more to the region regarding food and local produce. Visit the local brewery and taste the local seaweed beer, try the sea harvested, geothermal salt or see the chocolatier in Súðavík. 

Fisherman Seafood trail
Fisherman is a fully licensed day tour provider based in Sudureyri. Fisherman is also a passionate foodie that loves to meet and great people from all over the world and give them an authentic experience of a lifetime. Fisherman offers tours that combine both a cultural and culinary experience as well as offering hotel accommodation. Hotel guests get the Seafood Trail free of charge during the summertime. Visitors can also take a break at the coffee shop in the center of the village. The Fisherman Seafood Trail, the company trademark and a guided tour, gives a unique experience of slow travel. Indulge your senses with gourmet tastings, local history in remote, beautiful and sustainable Suðureyri and learn how the fishing industry has shaped Iceland's culture, past and present. Daily departures during the summertime but please call ahead to confirm timing. Dynjandi waterfall and local villages Experience Iceland's most beautiful waterfall, Dynjandi and the unspoiled nature with mountain views in the Westfjords. Dokkan brugghús
Dokkan is the Westfjords first and only brewery, that brews high class craft beer.  Our micro brewery is a small family business founded in Isafjorður in Octorber 2017 merely for the purpose to make local craft beer and the Westfjords really needed one. Then our first beer was made in the early summer of 2018. The brewery is located at Sindragata 11 and that’s were all of our products are made. The brewery welcomes guests at its location in Sindragata.  In the summertime the opening hours are from 3pm to 11pm.

Saltverk
Saltverk makes artisan flaky sea salt in Iceland. It is founded with the passion of making the world's best flaky sea salt. With access to some of the cleanest seawater imaginable, which is the raw material used for making sea salt. It is located in the nortwestern part of Iceland.
Sætt & Salt
A Chocolatier, Sætt & Salt or sweet and salty, nestled in Eyrardalur in the small town of Súðavík. The sweet referres to the sweetness of the chocolate and the salty referres to the local geothermally harvested seasalt from Reykjanes in the Westfjords that is used in the choclate.
