Guesthouse Malarhorn is located in the fishing village Drangsnes in Steingrímsfjörður, only 30 minutes drive from Hólmavík. Malarhorn offers various accommodation, double rooms with private bathrooms, small apartments and sleeping bag accommodation all with full breakfast. Geothermal swimming pool and a local food restaurant is next to the house. Malarhorn Travel also offers three hours long bird watching tours to the Puffin Paradise Grímsey in Steingrímsfjörður. Sea-angling tours are also possible.

Beffa Tours is a family owned and operated boat tour company, in Bíldudalur. Join us on an enjoyable and exciting adventure at sea and experience the incredible whales of Arnarfjörður, try your luck sea angling or a little bit of both. In the summer we offer daily whale watching tours. The fjords backdrop is the "Westfjords Alps" which you will enjoy on the cruise. Our boat is a comfortable family crusing boat which can carry up to 7 passengers. We offer private and semi private tours. Included in the price is safety gear, refreshments on board and blankets. It is recommended to dress according to weather, although if you get cold you are welcome to sit inside the boat and have a chat with the captain while searching for the whales. Borea Adventures, based in Ísafjörður, is a fully licensed adventure and wildlife guiding company, specializing in a range of outdoor experiences. Sunset in Dyrafjord 2 to 3 hours. In this trip we see and experience Dyrafjord with its most beautiful beauty and the sunset from a new wonderful perspective. And if we are lucky we will see curious seals on our journey. Seal trip in the Dyrafjord, fjord of the Vikings. 2 to 3 hours. On a good day, up to 20 seals can lie on the shore to sunbathe on the rocks. The seal is very curious and it’s great to watch them swim around the kayaks.

Sjóferðir ehf. is a brand new company, providing passenger transportation to Hornstrandir, and they also offer whale watching tours.  Sjóferðir operate 3 passenger boats.  Sjóferðir is a family business run by Stígur Berg Sophusson and Henný Þrastardóttir.   

We are located on the coast of the Northern Fjords. There is a small village in a beautiful environment with the unique swimming pool, the Krossneslaug, which is located down on the beach overlooking the ocean. Reykjarfjörður is facing Drangajökull, the northernmost glacier and hot springs waters, which are running into the swimming pool. In the ocean and on the rocks you can see the life of seals. Here you can find hot springs waters in unspoiled nature that can open a world of magic and trolls in a new way. We provide tours to Hornstrandir, along with day tours and personalized tours tailored to your preferences. 

HornstrandirTours offers daily scheduled trips to the Hornstrandir nature reserve from 1 June to the end of August. Our passenger boat, Hesteyri ÍS 95 is a fast fiberglass boat that can carry 24 passengers and is an exceptionally good seaboat.
