Kleifabúi/Kleifaman

The Cliff Man is a fun subject to photograph when driving over Kleifarheiði. It was created by men who were members of Kristleifur Jónsson's road crew in 1947, the road was worked solely by hand. Einar Einarsson and Guðjón Jóhannesson made the body of the man, but Kristján Jóhannesson made the head. The cliff man is about 5 meters high. 

It is believed to bring good luck and a good trip if you shake his hand.
