The Christmas month is here and you can see all the houses in the towns and villages with their festive christmas lights. When and if you get tired of the festive lights look to the sky and try to catch the northern lights.
What to expect
December like other winter months can vary quite a lot when it comes to weather. I can be packed with snow with some days the roads closing or it can be mostly rain and wet. December in the Westfjords has about 3 daylight hours per day so keep that in mind when putting together your schedule.

- Sturdy walking shoes with a good grip
