Morjane Ténéré is a singer-songwriter inspired by folk, blues, Native American and Northern African traditional music. She gave more than 200 concerts all over Europe. She wears the name “Ténéré” as a talisman. In Tamasheq, a Tuareg language, “Ténéré” means desert. The elements - water, fire, earth and air - permeate her songs. Her music is a ritual, a travel, an initiation. Her voice will make you cry.
She is playing with French Icelandic musician Christian Helgi on percussion, guitar & piano.
